What a year...
I am not sure where to start with this blog, my final blog of 2022. I canβt really believe how fast this year has gone, time flies when youβre having fun! It has been amazing (sometimes a little emotional) looking back and seeing what Iβve achieved and how far Iβve come.
Things that have been my highlights… I got to the finals of the Muddy Stilettos and The Wedding Industry Awards. Some of my work has been featured in magazines. I have captured 40β¦ yes you read that right 40 weddings, along with a couple of engagements, family, a corporate shoot and 3 styled shoots. I think about half of my weddings have been a new venues too, which I loved! So many incredible venues out there.
Iβve have done quite a few wedding shows, where I have met not only amazing couples planning their day (thank you so much for choosing me to capture your wedding) but also fabulous suppliers who are so lovely and talented at what they do.
My amazing couples. What can I say about all of you. I feel like with a lot of you, Iβve made some friends for life. You and your guests were so welcoming and so wonderful towards me that most of the time I just felt like I was one of your friends, which makes my job the best job ever.
One of my most favourite moments from this year was at Heaven and Samβs wedding. If you follow me of the old social media, you probably know what Iβm on about already! They had a beautiful church wedding and then back to The Arnold House for the reception. Sam was the last speech for the evening and it was a beautiful speech but at the end, he handed his beautiful wife a canon and he held one tooβ¦ as they had everyone they loved in one room, it was the perfect time to reveal the gender of their babyβ¦ ITβS A BOY!!! Not a dry eye in the house.
Iβll move onto the venues and the wonderful people who run them. Youβve been amazing. I donβt think I ate a bad meal any where, so yum! I was lucky enough to visit lots of new venues this year and I really lovedβ¦
- Grangefields
- Mythe Barn
- Draycote Hotel
- The Arnold House
- The Mill Barns
- Yeldersley Hall
- Charlecote Pheasant Hotel
- Donington Park Farmhouse
- Dodmoor House
- Colwick Hall
I think it is time I best share some of my favourite photos and moments with you all. Thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey in creating my little pink world.

My first 20 weddings of 2022, 13 of them were at new venues. I know some couples prefer if you have been to a venue before but it really doesn’t matter to the photographer. We love finding and exploring new places and finding new spots for photos. I love going to new venues, meeting new suppliers and getting new images for my portfolio.Β
