Lavender Bridal Shoot in Warwickshire's Lavender Fields

Lavender bridal shoot days are some of my favourites – and this one was pure summer magic. On a sunny Thursday in July, I joined five incredibly talented women for a relaxed and creative bridal shoot at the gorgeous Warwickshire Lavender Farm. From the pastel purple blooms to the beautiful dresses and effortless hair and makeup, this lavender field wedding shoot was a total dream to photograph.

We all met at Bridal Reloved Coventry, Jo’s lovely boutique. I arrived to find Louise already working her magic on Ioana’s bridal makeup. I’ve worked with Louise A’Ness a few times now and she always impresses me. Even in the July heat, her makeup stayed flawless the entire time.

While Louise finished up, Jo made us all a cuppa (and a good one at that!). We caught up and chatted away—it felt so good to pause in the middle of a busy wedding season and just enjoy some time with lovely people.

Choosing the Perfect Bridal Look

Once makeup was done, it was time for hair! This was my first time working with Laura from Elegance Bridal Hair Design and she was brilliant. Ioana’s soft curls held beautifully throughout the shoot.

Then came the fun part—picking the dress. It felt like we were part of her bridal squad helping her choose “the one.” Jo styled a gorgeous look with a separate skirt and bodice that came together so seamlessly it looked like one flowing gown. Just before we left, we also packed a stunning tea-length dress with a dipped hem—because who doesn’t love options?

The Lavender Field Wedding Shoot

The lavender fields were buzzing (literally, with bees!) and bursting with colour. Ioana looked absolutely stunning, and the whole vibe was effortless and joyful. I didn’t take any prep shots this time—just the magic that unfolded once we arrived at the field.

We shot until the light started to fade, capturing fun, romantic, and beautifully natural moments among the lavender rows.

How stunning does Ioana look?

It was the perfect summer’s day for a bridal shoot

The whole afternoon reminded me why I love what I do. A little sunshine, a lot of creativity, and the best company.

Big thanks to this dream team of women:
