It is a Thursday, so lets throw it back to a sunny day in July…

On the 13th July, myself and 5 amazing women went to the Warwickshire Lavender field for a little fun bridal shoot. 

We met at Bridal Reloved in Coventry, Jo’s shop is so lovely and welcoming. When I arrived Louise was already doing her thing and working on applying Ioana’s make up. I have known Louise a few years now and I have worked with her on a few different shots and I am always so impressed. This day was really warm but Ioana’s make up did not faulter once. Anyway, back to Wednesday, I wasn’t taking any photos of the prep, just at the lavender field. Jo made us a cuppa (and a good cuppa at that!) and we all chatted and had a catch up. 

In the midst of all the July madness and us all being busy, it was so wonderful to get together and have a fun afternoon, doing what we loved. 

Once Louise had finished with make up, Laura then did Ioana’s hair. I have never worked with Laura before but she is really lovely and so good at what she does. Ioana’s hair held for the whole shoot, the curls didn’t drop out and it looked amazing. 

The fun part, helping pick the dress Ioana was going to wear. It felt like we were her squad helping her choose for the big day! We roughly knew what we wanted. So, Jo did her thing and pulled out this beautiful skirt and a bodice, put a belt on and boom, it looked like one dress, you would never think to just look at it, it was separates. Ioana tried on a couple of bodices until we found the perfect one. 

Not long before we were about to leave, I spotted this gorgeous tea-length dress with a dipped hem, Jo said she had also thought about that one and if we wanted to we could take it along… so that is what we did!
