Well, what a year...
2021 has been a rollercoaster of a ride and… I was going to say I have loved every minute of it but I really haven’t. It has been tough in a number of ways for all of us but no way am I going to focus on any negatives here. Positive vibes all the way!
I have had the pleasure of capturing 27 weddings this year, (with a few other shoots thrown into the mix) and they have been amazing. I have visited some beautiful venues, which I will do a blog about soon. And I know pretty much every photographer will say that they have the best couples, but I honestly have been there for the best people and I have stand out moments from each. One of my favs was at Mr and Mrs Bonsor’s wedding. Instead of throwing the bouquet, Mrs Bonsor got everyone ready as if to throw it but danced beautiful self to her maid of honour… when her lovely maid of honour turned round, her partner was down on one knee and she said YES!!! It was such a special moment to capture. I could go on and on about each and every wedding but we will be here for a long time.
Other happy news in LB Head Quarters, was that I won a bronze award through The Guild of Photographers of the stunning Mrs Crawford. I am also a finalist in The Wedding Industry Awards, the awards night is the 17th January, so keep your fingers crossed!!
Then the last piece of news that I am going to leave you with is that from 2022, by lunchtime on the 31st of December, I will be made redundant from my part time day job and then from 1st January 2022, I am a full time photographer. Scary but very exciting times ahead!
Anyway, time to say goodbye to 2021! Have a fab New Year everyone and I will see you on the other side.Β
