I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Sam and Lee’s wedding at Catthorpe Manor Estate – not just once, but twice! Their first celebration took place in April 2021 with four witnesses, and then on 25th November, they had the most beautiful celebrant-led ceremony surrounded by their friends and family. It was a truly joyful day and a perfect example of why I love Catthorpe Manor wedding photography so much – relaxed, emotional, and full of natural moments.
If you love the idea of personal vows and meaningful ceremonies, a celebrant-led wedding might be perfect for you. Here’s a handy celebrant directory to explore options for your big day.
Spending the morning with Sam was just wonderful. She was so smiley and excited as she got ready in the light-filled bridal suite at Catthorpe Manor. These are always some of my favourite moments to capture – full of giggles, nerves, and love.

The venue’s ceremony room is lovely and light – it later transforms into the space for your wedding breakfast. Curious why it’s called that? It comes from a tradition where couples fasted before a religious ceremony, making this their first meal of the day – their “breakfast” together!
Although Catthorpe Manor is no longer open for weddings, it remains one of my favourite venues I’ve photographed. From the stunning indoor spaces to the beautifully kept gardens, it was a dream for natural, relaxed wedding photos.
Thank you, Sam and Lee, for letting me be part of your amazing wedding journey. Your day at Catthorpe Manor was full of love, laughter, and everything a wedding should be.
