Spotlight on Stunning Wedding Venues in and Around Nuneaton

Have you just got engaged and not sure what to do next?

Well, finding your venue should be one of the first things on your list. Oh and it is such an important choice to make. You want a venue that reflects you as a couple and choosing the perfect wedding venue is one of the most exciting steps in planning your big day. As a Nuneaton wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing beautiful moments at some incredible venues in and around the area.

So, here’s a spotlight on six of my favourites Wedding venues local to Nuneaton that are the ideal backdrop for your beautiful day 🎉

🌿 1. Weston Hall

Weston Hall is a charming Grade II listed building that offers a timeless, elegant atmosphere for weddings. With stunning countryside views and character-filled interiors, it’s perfect for couples seeking a mix of classic and contemporary. The grounds are perfect for your group photos. The venue isn’t exclusive venue though

Photo Tip: There are is a little secret garden at the back, which is amazing for us getting away from everyone for you couple portraits.

🌸 2. Ansty Hall (Ansty, near Nuneaton)

If you’re after an elegant country house setting, Ansty Hall is a fantastic choice. This Georgian manor boasts beautiful gardens and stylish interiors, ideal for weddings in any season. And, this isn’t a exclusive venue but the grounds are AMAZING! The Orangery is the perfect space for your wedding breakfast and reception. 

Photo Tip: The garden in spring bursts with colour, creating a vibrant backdrop for natural, fun, and relaxed photos.

🐎 3. Mythe Barn (Atherstone)

Mythe Barn is so beautiful, filled with lots of natural light, rustic barn venue located just outside Nuneaton. With exposed beams, a stunning courtyard, and countryside views, it’s perfect for relaxed, rustic weddings. And even better, it is an exclusive venue. So, it will just be just you and your loved ones!

Photo Tip: There are so many beautiful spots for your portraits. There are the open fields behind the barn are ideal for golden hour couple shots, the courtyard is perfect for confetti moments. Then there is a secret-ish spot in the corner with the fairy lights!

🏡 4. Ashton Lodge Country House (Stretton-under-Fosse)

Aw another exclusive venue for you! Ashton Lodge has a large garden and an it also has an amazing marquee for your wedding breakfast and evening reception. 

Photo Tip: Another venue with so many photo spots, inside and out! There is a swing, a vintage tractor and a perfect spot in the garden for those gorgeous golden hour photos!

🏰 5. Coombe Abbey (Coventry)

Steeped in history, Coombe Abbey is a venue like no other. With its grand architecture, gorgeous parkland, and lakeside views, it’s ideal for couples wanting a fairytale setting.

Photo Tip: The Abbey’s courtyard and lake area offer some of the most magical, romantic photo opportunities—especially when the sun sets over the water.

🌸 6. Bourton Hall (Rugby)

Bourton Hall is a stunning Italianate-style mansion set in the beautiful countryside. The grand staircase, chandelier-lit reception rooms, and panoramic views make this venue a dream especially for those romantic photos!

Photo Tip: The staircase is perfect for an elegant, statement portrait, and the gardens are wonderful for relaxed, candid moments. Oh and the confetti during your first dance is just magically!
